Let the fun begin

The title pretty much sums up what classes have started to become and what I'm sure will be a continuing trend. I didn't sleep twice this week to get projects completed up to my perfectionist standards and I haven't even made it to mid-terms yet. Sadly I don't have those projects to upload because they were in my sketching class. I will attempt that for next week. I'm actually reworking them after critique to kick up the contrast and hopefully bring them up to spring show standards. I hope that I can create something original and enticing enough that it will make it into the spring show. My last two digital projects were a surrealism piece made in photoshop and a design project centered around automobiles! I know right. It was a great week for projects.

Here is my first draft for the surrealism piece. We have 2 more drafts before we turn in the final piece. I'm curious to see if anyone can guess were all the pieces of my photography were taken at.

For our design project we had to pick one vehicle and take 4 photos in such a way that it made the viewer want to buy it. I absolutely loved this project. I did nine of them but these were the best three that I turned in. We had to put "curves ahead" in every photo which I didn't like so I'm including the unedited black and whites as well as the original raw color photos. I also cropped the photos so as to not show the vehicle type. If your good like me then you will know what they are.

This is just an extra shot I didn't use but liked a lot.
